Kard

December 3rd, 2004: Two new themes: animals and food

Danny Allen made these two new themes by using pictures from the public domain. Thanks a lot, Danny, for those very nice images! See this screenshot and that one.

October 5th, 2004: New theme: syllables

New theme: match the same syllables. To do: match a picture with a word and match a syllable with its sound (take the sounds from KLettres). See this screenshot.

November 17th, 2003: Small fixes and tarballs released

Some fixes have been done. The cvs HEAD version now uses KConfig XT.
Tarballs are available on the obtain page for cvs HEAD, 3.2-beta1 and 3.1.4 (qt-3.2)

July 29th, 2003: New geometrical theme

Thanks to Matt Howe, there is a new theme in Kard. This theme features geometrical opposite figures and is very interesting to play for the children as it implies to match not the same cards in a pair but complementary cards. In fact, I remember my father doing a set of such cardboard cards for his children and we had a really nice time playing with it. Please see the screenshots page to learn more about it!
Also many thanks to Whitehawk Stormchaser who took time these last days to track and fix a bug causing a crash.

July 4th, 2003: Bug fix

Kard is now working properly with pictures. I will need new pictures featuring new themes like animals and music instruments.
A Full Screen mode has also been added.
Have a look at the screenshots page to see Kard in action!

June 6th, 2003: New import in kdenonbeta

Today Kard has been imported to the kdenonbeta module.
Please see the obtain page to know how to get it from CVS HEAD (fortunately, you don't need to checkout the whole kdenonbeta module!)
Have a look at the screenshots page to see Kard in action!
