A new KTouch version (1.5) is made available as pre-release so that schools starting in August can already work with the new version and don't have to wait until KDE 3.5 release. You can download it here.

KTouch has now a new official maintainer, Andreas Nicolai. Andreas will fix the current bugs which mainly involve the keyboard handling. The cvs HEAD version now uses KConfig XT and the code will be updated further to current kdelibs. The keyboard layout files and training files (lectures) are being ported to xml format.
