September 19th, 2007: Marble wins Qt Center Programming Contest 2007 |
| Marble participated in the Qt Centre Programming Contest and won prizes in two categories: The jury chose Marble as the best entry in the Desktop Application Category and for the 3rd prize in the Custom Widget Category.
The Marble Team would like to thank all the people involved in this contest for making this possible.

| After several months of development the Marble Team is proud to
release its latest release Marble 0.4 ("Sladibadfast").

April 12th, 2007: Three students to work on Marble during GSoC 2007 |
| The Marble Project is happy to announce the selection of 3 Marble projects for the Google Summer of Code 2007. The Marble Desktop Globe will receive support for GPS and the KML file format (as used by Google Earth) as well as a 2D projection mode. More details are available at KDE's news site.
